On the composition

Composed to be read from across the room.

Cymbidium and phalaenopsis orchid heads are set on an ascending diagonal so the specimen resolves into a single gesture at distance and into individual blooms up close. Amaranth and moss willow cascade low to give the ceramic vessel a visual footing.

We do not seek to duplicate nature. Each specimen in the run is individually hand-composed, so no two arrive quite the same — the variation is the craftsmanship.
