Composed for one room, and kept there.
A commission begins with the space. Its light, its proportions, the vessel it can carry. From that brief the atelier composes a single specimen, numbered and documented like every other, and delivers it assembled and ready to place.
When to commission
For the brief the collections don’t answer.
A commission suits a brief the four collections don’t answer. The result is still finefaux botanical sculpture, hand-composed and ballasted for permanence. Only the brief changes.

A specific palette
Stems and tones chosen for the finishes already in the room, rather than a collection’s season.

A vessel already owned
Composed to a vessel of your own. Heavy stone, ceramic and metal suit the ballast best.

A scale beyond Grand
For a lobby, a stair hall or a long dining table, where the collections’ two scales are not enough.

A pair, or a set
Matched pieces for a symmetrical console, or a set across the suites and public rooms of a hospitality project.
The process
From the room to the specimen.
- 01

Brief
Share the room: photographs, dimensions, finishes, and the position the sculpture will hold. A vessel of your own can be sent to the atelier or specified from ours.
By email, with photographs - 02

Proposal
The atelier drafts a proposal for your review: a mockup of the composition, stems, palette and dimensions, with estimated pricing. Nothing is composed until the proposal is approved.
Mockup and estimate - 03

Composition
The specimen is built on the same hybrid ballast as the collections, then weighed, measured and photographed for its record.
8–12 weeks from approval - 04

Delivery
Fully assembled in custom laser-cut packaging, with a specimen record and care note. Installation is a matter of placing it.
Ships from Calgary
In situ
Numbered, documented and kept, like every specimen.

What a commission includes
Documented like every specimen.
Send a few photographs and the dimensions of the space, and the atelier will reply with next steps.
Commissions are specified by interior architects and design studios for lobbies, suites, restaurants and private residences. Each is quoted per project, with published dimensions and freight weights for the spec sheet and a single point of contact at the atelier from brief to delivery.
A numbered specimen record
Stems, vessel, dimensions, weight and date of composition, documented like every collection piece.
The same engineering
Hybrid dry-foam and gravel ballast locked with structural foam, and custom laser-cut packaging.
A proposal before anything is built
Mockup and estimated pricing for review, revised until the composition is right.
No minimum
A single specimen is enough. Each commission is quoted on its brief.
On briefs, vessels, timing and the proposal.
Eight to twelve weeks from an approved proposal, depending on stems and vessel.
Yes. Send it to the atelier, or share its dimensions and we compose to it. Heavy stone, ceramic and metal suit the ballast best.
No. A single specimen is enough, and each commission is quoted on its brief.
Yes, in a new scale, palette or vessel.
It is revised before anything is built. The mockup and estimate are adjusted until the composition is approved.
Commissions are quoted per project. Your tier and volume are taken into account in the quotation.
