Terms of service

Who we are. PETALE Atelier, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Questions: accounts@petaleatelier.ca.

Specimens. Each specimen is hand-composed in limited, numbered runs. Small variations in stem placement, tone and vessel finish are part of the craft, not defects. Photographs and dimensions are as accurate as we can make them; published dimensions are approximate to within 2 inches.

Prices. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes are added at checkout. Trade pricing applies only to approved trade accounts and is confidential to the account holder.

Orders. An order is accepted when we confirm it by email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a specimen is no longer available, with a full refund. We ship within Canada.

Returns. Returns are covered by our Refund and return policy.

Bespoke Botanicals. Commissions begin once a written proposal is approved and a 50% deposit is paid. The balance is due before dispatch.

Care and warranty. Each specimen is warranted for 12 months against structural failure of the ballast or vessel under normal indoor use. Keep specimens out of direct sun and moisture. Damage from misuse, outdoor placement or alteration is not covered.

Intellectual property. All designs, photographs, text and the PETALE name and seal belong to PETALE Atelier.

Liability. To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the price paid for the specimen.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes. We may update these terms; the version on this page applies to orders placed while it is shown.
